Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu’s “Srimanthudu” has collected around Rs. 50 crore in just days at the worldwide box office collection

Now its going to be a blockbuster movie of the year for the Mahesh Babu. The film has just collected Rs. 30 crore on its opening day and around Rs. 25 crores on 2nd day. “Srimanthudu” received unanimous positive response from both critics and audience around the world and the word-of-mouth factor took the business upwards with the film registering an average of 95 percent occupancy in all centres. However, its 2nd day collection was lower in comparison of 1st day collection. It registered over 30% dip in numbers because the first day collection also include the premier shows that were held on Thursday.

Mahesh Babu and Shruti Hasan starrer has become the second faster Telugu movie, who has collected Rs. 50 crore in 2015 after S S Rajamouli’s “Baahubali- The Beginning”.
According to the trade experts, “Srimanthudu” is estimated to have collected Rs 33 crore nett at the worldwide box office in two days. The share of its distributors, who shelled out Rs 55+ crore on its theatrical rights, stands at Rs 20+ crore. The Koratala Siva-directed movie is expected to get back their investment with a decent profit in its opening week.
